how do you use the control panel potterton ep3000?

i have a glowworm boiler and a potterton ep3000 control unit i just want too heat up my water but the rads get warm also i just need the water how do i use the control panel properly with the timer

If you want just hot water then turn the CH switch to the "Off" position.
