Will TV headphones work??

I'm a bit deaf, answer seems to be for me to wear wireless headphones when watching TV and wifey to listen normally. It appears that this is only possible if the TV allows it depending on model. I have a Bush WS6675SIL, can anyone confirm one way or the other if this model is compatible?, thanks, Roy

Hi Roy,
I just sent a full reply to your query, the system timed out and all was lost so I shall just send the bones.
Look in your TV manual and on the TV front you will (hopefully) have a socket marked "Audio or Headphones" This is usually a 3.5 mm coaxial socket, it is on both my TVs.
I have an elegant Sony Sender which has,
Power from adaptor at TV end, also charging 2 AA spare batteries for the headset
Auto switch on when headset is put on head.
Tuning and Volume adjust.
Excellent Quality, more intelligible.
Can watch alone if wife not watching, press Mute on TV
