my dco4 is constantly overheating and switching itself off?

my dco4 model no d67574 constantly switches itself off after about 1 min of use and then you have to wait about 10 minutes before it cools down and you are able to switch it on again.

when did you last check pickup pipe for blockages, or clean the motor pre filter the sponge can be washed under a cold tap allow to dry completely before refitting the other filter is under the bin housing just knock the dust out of this one if this fails to cure problem brushes in motor have insufficent pressure on comutator causing the thermal overload to kick in,replacing the brushes will cure the above problem do in the above order the first two cost nothing the brushes about £7
