I also have teh same problem and when I look what's on teh CD there is only a program for uppdating the firware and instruction book on different languages...

I've the same problem and I dont have the cd coming with it. I need the software to reinstall the fw. please help me goodlack@hotmail.fr
I ve just got one , really cheap.
The trick to reinstall the firmware is to install the restore program on your PC first, then hit the mp3 with it.
It worked for me!
