2 silver wires?

I have just bought a new light, instead of it having a blue and brown wire it has 2 silves wires, how do I tell which is which?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Are you able to tell us what sort of light it is, what lamp is in it. Most lights are not polarity conscious and in a sealed type lamp as no terminals, (metal bits) exposed then it will not matter wich, live or neutral is connected. Does the fitting have a symbol of a square within a square as this would indicated that it is double insulated and does not require an earth.
