My toilet makes a bad noise at the end of the filling part of a flush, pipe noise that is very loud. I have bought and fitted a top hat set of little gromets and seals (around universail filler section) and it got marginally better, what should I try next?
It is a Ceroma Dual flush

the noise is called water hammer and occures when the ballcock washer doesnt seat properly or is worn and vibrates as the water forces past it,check whether you get the same noise from running a cold tap as sometimes it is the mains stoptap that is making the noise and travels down the pipe,regards joe
