Miele W1512 washign machine stuck in demo mode?

Just bought a new Miele 1512 washing machine and after using it for about 5 washes it suddenly says "Demo mode", which cycles through all the settings of the built-in programmes without actually washing.

I cannot find a way to get it off the demo mode. Have turned it off and unplugged at mains. and left like that but still the sam.

Miele says this machine does not have a demo mode, so I guess we'll get it replaced, but if anyone does know how to get it washing again that would be great.

Well Miele in the UK got on to the technical bods in Germany and provided a sequence to unlock the demo mode. Apparantly the model does have one. All sorted now.

Here is the sequence should anyone need it for future reference:

Press and hold the Start/Stop button while switching the unit on with the On/Off switch.
As soon as the Start/Stop illumination ring lights constantly, after approx. 5 sec., release the Start/Stop button.
Immediately press and hold the Start/Stop button until the Demo-Mode is activated, approx. 4 seconds.
Demo-Program deactivation: Follow the instruction for Demo-Mode access above.

So it looks like Miele are going to pick it up ? I think they will send a engineer first to look at it.
I have a Miele dishwasher and washing machine and never have i seen "demo mode" on my washing machine. Sounds like you have one that usually goes to somewhere like the Ideal Home Exhibition .It just gets used for demonstration .
Miele is a great make and it will last for years .They cost more but are well worth it.
