Have got a Hotpoint Aqarius WD440,,,, wash/dryer cycle has ended - Door locked light is off BUT cant open the door, have removed plug from mains for 20 mins, done a spin cycle, locked door light goes off but still cant open the door... Any suggestions please?? thanks

this is probably due to some wear or crack in the handle hook not moving it sufficient to disengage the latch
A bit of brute force may be required to get door open to inspect
