how to fix an Indesit WG1130T washing machine?

My machine keeps stopping mid programme, although sometimes it doesn't, what could be wrong?

Sometimes if I shake the pump it will go, sometimes I have to turn the machine off and click the programmer on a bit then switch the machine back on.

My machine will not wash. It was working fine right before I started another load. I put it on cycle 3 walked away and when it was done, it didn't even wash the load. I started it again thinking it had too much clothes inside, but it still didn't work. The drum won't turn.

I had this problem. It turned out to be the hot water imlet valve. Mounted on the back panel, on the hose inlets. Check for mains voltage accross the valve correlating with a rushing water noise at the relavant part of the cycle. About £2.50 to replace from www.cpc.co.uk
