HOTPOINT AQUARIUS WD71, ULTIMA 1200 - ERROR CODE E11 - HOW DO I FIX?

HOTPOINT AQUARIUS STARTS BEEPING AFTER 5 MINUTES - RUNNING OUT OF CLOTHES!?
Please help, I live alone and don't know anyone that can help me out, I can't afford to get a repair man out not only because I'm a mature student but because of the time of year!

I have a Hotpoint Aquarius Ultima 1200 washer dryer, model WD71. The error code is E11. The manual says 'check water supply'. I've checked but there is nothing obvious that I can see. When I try putting a wash on, it washes for 5 minutes then starts beeping. There are no kinks in hoses. Detergent remains in drawer.

Please help, I have exams in January and this is the last thing I need on my mind right now :-(

Many thanks in advance.

I have a WD71, and also have the problem with the cycle stopping and bleeping, ive had the circuit changed, but the engineer said it wasnt a problem with the machine, the problem was that the hot water was on a low pressure,i have to keep stopping and starting it-once it has reached the right amount of water inside, it washes away as normal. Its a nuisance all the same and im not sure this is the reason as ive had the same machine for years now and its only been doing this for 8 months or so. any other ideas anyone ?

I have the same prob. It is extremely cold at the moment, below freezing and snowing. So the pipe that brings water into the machine is probably frozen.

Hi Laura...sorry have had to mail you again!
I have just raisied the hose at the back of machine and it seems to be taking the washing powder ok now! Hope that helps your problem too.

Hi Laura, I have the same problem! Have found one answer from someone saying as well as checking all the obvious it may be a circuit error which would need an engineer. As long as you have checked all the pipes and made sure there is no water leaking anywhere you could put powder tablets in the drum instead of in the drawer and when it gets to the point of beeping push the 30 temp button and go can through the different rinse and spin cycles ... you may find that it will rinse and spin ok on one of these. Let me know how you get on. All the best, Dawn x
