12v lighting?

some of our bulbs went out in 3 different rooms. On changing them for exact replacements, they dont come on We have swopped the new bulbs with the lights that are working and they are fine. The bit where the 2 prongs go in looks different could this be the answer??

Yes it could as there are a couple of bi-pin bulb bases. My guess is that your base is different then what your product calls for. A G4 and G6.35 base are close to the same size but are different. Take one that works to you local bulb supply house and they should be able to show you the difference.

if they are 12v repacments and fit in to the holders then its probably the transformers that are broken. did you try the old lamps in difernt holders or was it obvius that they were blown. 12vtransformers to blow and are cheap to replace.
