Trouble with Vokera Mynute 20SE Boiler?

My boiler loses pressure. If I charge it to 1.5bar then when the burner comes on the pressure can vary up to > 3.0bar (that's when I quickly switch it off). If I leave it for a while the pressure falls back to 0.5bar. The boiler can run at 0.5bar and when the burner comes on the pressure goes up to about 1.3 - 2.0bar. There are no obvious leaks from boiler, pipes or radiators. Any suggestions?

The pilot light has gone out. Tried the reset button. No joy. Can you help?

Terri,
Thanks for the info. I had a look at the car type shrader and there are small bubbles coming from it. When I press the nipple then water comes out. Should it not be air that comes out?

mine done the same at 1 piont, bioler should be 1-1.5 bar cold, then up to about 2.5 - 3bar hot. pressure kept on dropping after weeks of looking i found a tiny leak from 1 of my radiators, you probs will have a leak some were

hi ,,
the problem you have is a not that unusual, at the top of the boiler and at the rear there is a tank,or a pressure vessle.
this needs to be periodicaly recharged with compressed air.
if you look at the top of this vessle you will see a car type shrader valve in wich you attach a car/bicyle type pump to.

recharge the tank till your gauge reads 1 bar or 15 psi however
your gauge tells you.
you can purchase a cheap car type gauge from any diy place for about 2.99p and the gauge comes attached to the pump.

hope this is of use,,,,,
