So far, I believe the only way to get the code is to ask for it from the dealer that installed it (ie. Suzuki, Mitsubishi .... ). I believe that each car dealer will use the same code for all stereos but between dealers the code will be different.
I gave this stereo to my neighbor out of my Mitsubishi ... she called up a Mitsubishi dealer and got the code no worries.
