auto is all preset times and system working to pre set desired heat temp.
star is pre set time the system will heat to and keep ,-the 4 on off times.
moon is nightime setting to keep chills away ,this setting keeps radiators not freezing cold to touch "somthing along them lines".
last setting is to keep boiler from freezing "if you go holiday you put it on that".
programming you after flip the switch on the right side all the way up after pre setting each on/off time's then put it back down to bottom,it will save them .
