Kitchenaid Ice maker leaks?

My Kitchenaid ice maker is leaking, it just started doing this. The ice maker tries to produce ice then the leaking starts to freeze in the ice container in the freezer some how the water must melt then leak out. Not sure what is going on. Turned the ice maker off and the leaking has stopped but no ice of course. Any ideas?

Sorry, I can't answer your question. Mine is doing the same thing. I see it leaking into the ice cube collector
bin after the ice cubes are made and pushed out of the tray, during the refill of the tray. It dribbles down the back wall into the bin so I end-up with a block of ice in the bin. I also pushed the on-off bar up so the ice maker
is now off.

Mine is a top and bottom model with the freezer on
top. It started leaking when my son put something in the
bin that prevented the bar from going up, thus not
allowing the ice maker to shut-off.

I don't suppose you found a way to repair this yourself
did you?
