Hi! my friends vokera linea 24 boiler pressure has dropped i tried to fill it using the relevant tap which i have done many times before but this time the pressure gauge isn't rising, does this mean the inlet cock is faulty, any idea.

You can't here any wateer entering the system and when i tried disconecting the filling loop to check if its blocked water is coming back out of the system so this make me think the inlet valve is faulty.

When you operate the filling valve can you hear water entering the boiler. If this is the case check the outside drain cock is not open and the pressure relief valve is not passing water to outside. Is there water passing through the boiler to the hot water taps. If there is your diagnosis may be correct however the on line filter may be blocked which is located directly downstream of the filling valve.
