FREEVIEW AND DVD RECORDER?

I can record the freeview channel from my freeview box onto a DVD recorder without a freeview tuner, but you cannot watch one digital channel and record another. You can watch a digital channel and record an analogue channel or vice versa. You feed the aerial into the freeview box, then connect the freeview box to the recorder and the recorder to the TV, all connections need to be scart and aerial connections. On my recorder, the digital channel is recorded on line 1 and the analogue channels are named. Hope this helps, good luck.

Yes - IF it has a built-in Freeview tuner. Alternatively you could look at a Freeview PVR (Personal Video Recorder).
