vauxhall corsa boot lock jammed?

the boot lock is jammed in the lock position. key turns but when button depressed wont release lock. have stripped down to the lock but cant get to the mechanism inside. any tips vaux corsa 2000 model

Try taking off boot card and check plug that goes into lock sometimes this comes out and stops it working happened to mine recently

i done dne of these on a cavalier,you have to dismantle lock from inside car this work's (hope your's is the hatch?) hope this help's steray
