Whilst the machine was washing, I opened the lid for a while as I had more clothes to put in. When I went back to the machine there was no power to it whatsoever. I unplugged the cord at the wall and waited some time, but still there is no life whatsoever coming from the machine. Any suggestions on the problem?

In the meantime, the machine is still half full of water from the load I was doing at the time. Do I bucket this out?

The machine is approx. 4 years old.
