why does my swift flow boiler turn itself off?

i have a glow worm swift flow E boiler, when the radiators are heating up the boiler trips itself off after a while, the reset control light is on and the boiler fires back up after pressing the control reset switch, the pressure is 1.5 when cold and touches 2 bar when hot, there is a little red arrow on the pressure dial just past the 2 bar but i have not seen the needle reach this point. any ideas why it is tripping itself off ?

The central heating pump would be a good starting point.

thanks for your reply sebas. the boiler only feeds 6 radiators on the ground floor of a bungalow, you say that it is possible that the radiators dont flow well, how would i check that the radiators flow well ?

not sure bruce, but it sounds like a self control system because of overheating. Are you sure the waterflow in your radiotors is ok. Its possible that they dont flow well and that the boiler cannot release its heat. When it reaches a maximum temperature it switches off. Presure sounds ok.
