Night storage heaters not working after a power cut?

On the 28th of December we had a power cut in this street, ever since then my storage heaters are working but only sending out heat from the late afternoon. I haven't changed any of the controls, but the bottom line is the house is freezing in the morning and there is nothing I can do about it.

The heaters in question are Sunhouse and Simplex, I have no model no. for them.

Previously, they were warm during the day getting really hot at night. The dials are set to maximum for input and output.

Can anyone help out there.

I have phoned NPower and they say it has nothing to do with them?

What has happened is the clock which works your heaters stopped during the power cut, consequently when power was resumed the clock started from where it was. If power off at 7 0'clock not resumed til 12 then clock still at 7 0'clock. So heating comes on 5 hours later. You could ask your supplier to change your clock or do as I once did when they wouldn't and take advantage of the fact that you have economy 7 during the day. Just think of all the electrical things you do and how much less it will cost. If your supplier is awkward and you really want it changed just mention how much less your bill will be next 1/4 they will soon come round!
Good Luck.

Nothing serious your timer was switched of because of the power cut and went back to the default settings you need to reset the timer.
