cannot turn off dimplex electric fire?

Remote does not switch fire off but can turn on heat manual control the same the only way to switch off is turn power off. The fire is dimplex exbury EBY15 5 years old

I'm assuming that the remote is working,you can tell by pointing it towards your phone's camera and pressing any button,if working you will see it light up on your phone.Other than that it will need a new PCB part No FP06008
