Bosch WFD2460 - Is it normal to have a warm water rinse?

Hi - wondered if anyone can answer a question about my washing machine. I have just inhertited a Bosch washing machine(approx 6yrs old - I think) from my parents.
Is it normal that the washing comes out warm? I presume that the machine is rinsing with warm water - thought this is wasting warm water/energy. Is there a setting I should know about? I have read through the manual and it doesn't seem to refer to it.
Many thanks in advance for anyones help

A bit bizarre this - usually machines have a final cold rinse, but on one I looked at recently the water inlet connections were the wrong way round! I could be completely talking nonsense, of course, but its worth checking them out.
