Drum not spinning on Servis Automatic 1100?
Dear all, I know precious little about washing machines, but would rather try and repair it than throw it out. The machine has worked fine for about 8 months (it was second hand however). On the last wash the machine made all the regular noises, but when I came to empty, the clothes were still soaking. I've tried it on full/half load settings, and on the various spin settings with no result, other than the noise. Does this mean that the motor is spinning but not transferring the motion to the Drum? Any help you could provide, would prevent me having to fork out for a new one. Many thanks, and happy new year.
