hi i do i restore my advent 7087 back to factory settin with out losing ma staff

when you start your advent 7087, it comes up with the page saying press f2 to start bios. ignore this and the next screen that shows is a plain black screen with a line blinking. when you are on this screen fress f10 repeatedley until it says at the bottom 'starting system recovery' wait for it to startup and follow the instructions (make sure too read all options twice before deciding which type of restore to use) and then just wait.

Only with the recovery discs, unless you have set a restore point when you bought it. other wise try www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/laptop/7087.htm maybe it will help.
