My washing mashine, an Ariston (same factory as Indesit) does this when the weight is too unevenly distributed to run high speed centrifuge. Unplug, wait a few minutes, door lock unlocks, take some textile out, close door, plug in, start centrifuge program, when finished centrifuge the rest.
