Machine has got VERY noisy and has started to deposit dirty dots on clothing etc, which has obviously come through the holes in the drum.....any suggestions?? Easy to sort?? Expensive?? DIY??
my hot point when spins the motor is hitting the side and tripping out trip switch seems like the bars holding the drum up has callapsed any 1 know how to replace

It sounds like your barings are shot, this is not an easy repair and as far as diy goes dont even bother, if its under five years old call hotpoint if not call steptoe and son.
