HOW CAN I FIX MY SONY COMPACT DISC PLAYER(MODEL #CDP-C591?

MY HOME CD PLAYER WILL NOT PLAY ANY CD'S. INSTEAD THE CD TRAY JUST MOVES IN AND OUT, AND THEN THE CD TRAY WILL THEN BEGIN TO SHUFFLE. BUT IT DOESNT STOP. IT WILL JUST CONTINUE TO MOVE IN AND OUT. I HAVE TO SHUT IT OFF IN ORDER FOR IT TO STOP.

it could be the limit switch that is a bit duff or if it is a belt driven tray it may need a new belt but you will have to dissmantle it to find out
