on tents i use a weak solution of "Milton" to stop mildew ... try it .. it may work for you.

soak a white terry towel in a bleach and water solution and lay the soaked towel over the seat afew hours i,ve done this and it works happy boating

About 20yrs ago we used a product called mildue gas, it came in a small cloth bag. When placed in your boat the mildue did not form. So need to clean seat or other things. If you know about this stuff . Please contact imtoad@earthlink.net
