No hotwater?

I have a Worcester 28CDI RSF boiler. When turning the hot tap on we have no hot water. Their is plenty of water and pressure. On closer inspection the light for the hotwater is not coming on. I have had a look under the panel and can a what is refereced as a diverter valve is moving but not touching the micro switch. If i touch the switch the boiler fires. Does this sound like a dodgie diverter or is it something not moving the valve ie pressure.

hi,,

yes you have done your homework here, the rubber diaphrame in the diverter valve has perished and a small split has appeared between the pressure sides of the diaphram, you can buy a service kit but the bad news is its not worth the bother to renew, i strongly advise the complete diverter valve to be changed with a new unit and this is a proffesenal job. sadly no diy here, sorry......
