I have three Oggetti pendants, each alledgedly with a transformer which take 50 watt bulbs. Two of them are erratic - go off and on randomly. The third is stable. I've tried switching bulbs, and the problem is bulb independent, so it seems to be the fixture. any ideas?

If the transformer is 1 unit for all three lamps and one lamp is stable it is not likely to be a transformer problem, but probably worn lampholder connections. if the lamps are 12volt with straight pins that you push in then a poor connection can result once the lamps have had tme to get hot.

quite often if low voltage lighting is turning off randomly it is caused by the transformer over heating as they have an over temp switch fitted.it may pay to check the installation or have it checked to be on the safe side.
