Vidio Card?

I have an aftermarket vidio card and it went bad. Pulled the card out and now the computer during boot will no recognize the card that came with the machine? What to do?

Chances are that the BIOS recognised that there was a aftermarket video card and disabled the on-board graphics.

If the aftermarket card was letting you down in Windows but worked OK at bootup, then I would suggest putting this back in to enable the on-board graphics in the BIOS.

If its definitely dead, then try removing the BIOS battery, leave it out for 15-30 seconds and putting it back in. This should set it back to standard settings.
