It MAY work using a universal remote like SKY.
Follow the instructions to programme a sky remote to operate the t.v and then select t.v followed by "help" key on the sky remote and this may put the television into AV mode.

Meant to say - i don't think it can't be accessed via the TV - you need the remote control. Our remote broke and we couldn't select AV until we bought a new remote.

its the button underneath the green button on the remote - it has the word ANGLE above it - should also say AV in the middle off the button in tiny print.
