hi,a every1. on my motherboard i have the amd sempron 3000 socket am2 and i removed it to try another processor but i dident realise i had to lift the lever to raise the cream/white plastic thing ,(the thing with all the tiny holes in) so i gentely pulled it off and while doing this i snapped the plastic cover and since i,ve put it back in my pc justs beeps and my screen wont come on. please help as i,m desprate. thanks

I think you've ruined the board. You could try contact cement (Krazy Glue) and hold it in place to let it dry and then see what happens. All isn't lost though because all your work will be fine on the hard drives - just the board and CPU may need replacing (seeing as though you may not get a replacement board for what you have
