can i change the thermostat on transit diesel 1996 without changing the complete housing? if so how? i have taken the plastic housing off van but thermostat is inside plastic cover??
You don't need to take the plastic housing off, there is a hexagon back from where the pipe goes on, take the pipe off and undo the housing on this hexagon and the thermostat is behind that.
