How do i turn off the security system indicator warning on a Kenwood KDC-W?

I have a Kenwood KDC-W4031 which i have owned for the last 4 years. It has been in my cupboard for 3 of those and i have lost the code and cant even get the display up. I just get the Vol and the chanel search button flashing blue. Can anyone tell me how i can get this working again? It would be great if someone can help me. Many thanks. Darren

Hi. Previous reply incorrect, refer to manual available on Kenwood site. The 4031 does have a security code which is set by customer on instalation. I have a similar problem. I want to swap the radio from one car to another, but as I don't have the code need to know how to disable it before removing from donor car

Hi,
The kenwood 4031 does not have any security code. The faceoff front panel is the only anti theft feature on this stereo.
