this information worked perfectly, holding the 2 buttons until the light on the remote stops flashing and then pressing the big button twice, thanks very much.

was told by someone that there is a way of retuning fob using the override touchkey that came with the alarm.

My alarm has also stopped working as of last night.
When I tried last nite I pressed a variety of button combinations and as stated above, at one point, the light did stay on...but after this it still did not work.
I tried again this morning and this time the light on the fob wouldn't stay on, just lit up as I pressed the button and went off as soon as I released the button..

Any ideas??! Cheers

Dave's answer is spot on. My remote stopped functioning after a battery change. I followed his advice and things are working again.

Thanks Dave.

hold both buttons down on the remote untill the light stops flashing, release the buttons and the light will remain on, then press the left button a couple of times. this needs to be done whilst standing next to the car.
