Why does my recliner loveseat tip?

When we sit on the front of the recliner loveseat, it tips forward very hard. It didn't always do that and the reclining sofa doesn't tip at all.

I have the same problem, different brand, and it's done this since we bought it two years ago. We considered bolting it to the floor but it'd tear up the hard wood floor. W thought about strapping it like they do to keep dressers from falling on children but the wall behind is an old fireplace and there's no good way to anchor it in place. This is no answer but I figured you should know you're not alone with this issue.

As the owner of a furniture repair and restoration business, this type of problem usually involves the separation of the inner or under frame. Repair involves turning the sofa over and removing or pulling back the material that covers the bottom. Next inspect inside for signs of separation or breaks. It will be visible where long staples have pulled out.Remove staples and replace with a combination of stron glue such as epoxy and screws. Be sure to drill pilot holes first, so you dont split the wood.

I have two new recliners that tip forward too!
Approached the retail outlet, who more or less told me to get lost. To my way of thinking, a chair that does the tipping thing is NOT SAFE. I am in the process of contacting Consumer Protection. My chairs have a MENZA brand tag under the bottom of chair.
