How can I fix my Creda 17086 washing machine - it does not drain or spin?

My Creda 17086 is going through it's wash and rinse cycles but when it comes to spin mode on the dial, the machine does not drain then spin and clicks to the off position, still full of water. Is this a problem with the timer control unit or the drain pump or something else?

Thanks

Check for blockages in your (LOWER SUMP HOSE) or pump has given up, machine MUST PUMP THE WATER CLEAR IN A CERTAIN TIME, BEFORE TRYING TO SPIN THE DRUM
manually empty by putting drain pipe into a bowl lower to ground WATER should flow by (GRAVITY) if a dribble definate blockage If it does flow suspect pump seized, empty bowl 4/5 times ADVANCE PROGRAMME to a KNOWN SPIN point TRY, IF NOW SPINS this clears the spin problem proving motor OK, inspect pump closer, does the impeller turn ,CHANGE PUMP
