How can i start my citroen dispatch van?

Left my van citroen dispach Vreg 1900 straight deisel (which has always been a good starter)for about 3 weeks then tried to start it .turning over ok but is not firing up.Tried easy start and towing still not firing.

Could be fuel stop/immobiliser solenoid on the top rear off the injection pump..Quite a common problem on these engines. Only problem with changing this is that its under a security plate bolted to the rear of the pump with shear bolts which need drilling out... Or alternatively u could cut the top of the cover off just enough to reveal the solenoid using a small cut off tool taking care not 2 cut any pipes :)

Hi mate, have same problem with mine when its been stood for more than 4 or 5 days but its simple to cure!
Under the bonnet near to the bulkhead (underneath the windscreen where you would find the wiper mehanism) there is a black rubber bung. It is just slightly to the left of the centre of the engine bay.
Squeeze this bung a few times until you feel it stiffen up slightly. This will prime the fuel pump and get the supply back to where it needs it.
Should then start straight away, mine did!

sounds like the fuel nock sensor is faulty
you should take it to a dealer
