my samsung digital camcorder vp-d101 will not connect to my pc,i am on windows xp and i have all the right software and leads but it still will not connect

hi, i have had the same problem, had my PC checked everything oK there, and then took the Camcorder to a repair shop, they say the Dv conection on the camcorder is broken so it will not make conection £80 repire so go easy puting dv cable in and out, expensive lesson.
