I saw (no pun intended) "340 parts saws and complete saws" cheap for sale on EBay 3 days ago. Try again! They're out there. Isn't the choke part of the air cleaner? Are you missing the air cleaner?

Larry, do a search for homelite 290 on ebay. there is an air filter assy w/choke buy now for $10. this is the same part no. as for the 340, i checked at homelite.com. ebay item no. is 270200416290. hope this helps you out. good luck. Craig
