The hinge has broken on the door of my hotpoint aquarius 1200 wd62 i have a replacement but cannot see how to do it.
I have removed the hinge from the machine and the back plate has fallen down i think i can refit that but i cannot see how to get into the door assembly to fit the hinge.

My washing machine hinge has just broke aswell - on here looking for the same answer but....
What did you use to unscrew the hinge? None of my screwdrivers fit.
AND... I didn't think about there being a back plate. Are there nuts that disappear into the internals as well?
