Glow-worm KFB 40 Boiler?

Boiler will not fire up, 3 neon lights lit on pcb pilot sparking but no ignition untill you lift the top cover then the boiler lights any ideas.could it be air pressure switch not sure? had it working for 1hr today but knocked off then would not fire up again untill you lift the cover again.
any ideas.

9/10 times the ignition lead on these boilers arcs out on the case. A bit of electrical tap wrapped around the lead will do the trick

The cover is the one at the top off the boiler which covers the fan its held on by two screws just above the eletrical cover, I think its either the pressure switch or the fan.

i am a qualified heating engineer with plenty of experience but more infomation required and most probably you need to pay for an expert to look at the problem but hey i am intrigued so whats this flap?
