Sewing Genie - how do you thread the bobbin and get it to work?

I just got a Sewing Genie for some small projects and had no idea about all the issues in regards to threading the bobbin. The instructions are completely in French, but I have read that the instructions are not accurate anyway in regards to the bobbin set up, etc. I have checked everything I can online and still have no answers. I also have not even seen a sewing machine in a very long time so I am unfamiliar with even how standard sewing machines operate.

Hello Lynne,
I have just noticed that you do not have the original Genie so the information I gave you may be wrong, if you can e-mail a picture of the bobbin case I can help you'

Hello Lynne,
Hold the bobbin in your left hand, thread leading off from the top, drop the bobbin in, put the thread through the slot on the bobbin case and pull it to the back leaving about 4 inches of thread laying to the back of the machine, any problems e-mail me.
