13A Fuse Blowing?

I have a new Al-KO 3Kw Log Splitter which is supplied with a standard 13amp plug. When I first switch on, the 13amp fuse in the plug blows. Once this is replaced I can switch on and off with no problem during that day. When I go to use it again the next day, the initial "switch on" will blow the fuse again. Any suggestions please ?

Hi
It is the surge current from the 3kW motor that is blowing the fuse,if you have an electric cooker try plugging the 13 amp plug into the 13amp socket on the cooker supply,if this is not possible you'll need to get its own isolated supply.
