I have swopped my vauxhall astra phillips radio for avauxhall vectra phillips 400 radio. The radio works ok, but the radio info display doesn't work on the car display unit. The car display unit is ok because when radio is switched off, date is displayed as normal... car is a 1998 vaux astra 1600cc..........

The wiring connections on your original radio are not the same as the one you fitted even if its replacement is original as well,as sometimes they need additional wiring run to another pin.
