Janet, I cant answer your question, but dont you think it ridiculous that someone would manufacture a fridge with the drip tray at the BACK of the fridge???? In other words, out of sight? Also, inspection requires pulling out the fridge, not easy for us with a hefty stainless steel monster.
We have had the unfortunate experience of an overflowing drip tray leaking onto a new kitchen floor and undermining the floorboards which are now buckled.
Im thinking of entering this Westinghouse feature into competition for shoddy design.
