my dad is disabled and listens to his system all day however his cd is a seperate part of a large stack system with tape deck turntable etc. the cd player is broken and wondered if their was anywhere we could send it to be repaired. any information would be grately appreciated. The cd player just keep moving to the next disc not recognising the disc. Somebody told him it was the lazer that may need replacing.

it is the laser, but try using a cleaning disc first or if you can see the laser,try a cotton bud with a dab of nail varnish remover on it to clean the laser this has worked on many of cd that i have repaired hope this help's
