when i turn on the ignition and turn the radio on its indicates safe i need to put the correct code and when this is inputted will my built cd player work as well please can you help

Yes will all work,
However as you dont have the security card you will need to visit Vx, take V5 and driving licence as proof of ownership and id.
They can get the info,costs about £25 takes about a week.
Alternatively take the radio to a local auto-elec that advertises decodes normally costs £15 and will be done immediately
